He is a CPA with over 20 years of extensive experience, having held senior and executive positions in both the private and public sectors and supported projects spanning social services, real estate, insurance, finance, food and beverage, education, arts, tourism, and more.
Elliot Bridgewater, LLP
Elliot is the Legal & Regulatory Director at CCSC and one of Western Canada’s leading experts in cooperative law. He is a partner at Oemichen Bridgewater LLP. He was called to the bar in 2014, is an Alberta and British Columbia Law Societies member, and has advised dozens of co-ops across Canada and internationally.
Corinne Remple
Corinne, born in the prairies and raised on the west coast, brings a unique perspective to her role, straddling both sides of the Rockies. She has experience in nonprofits and entrepreneurship and’s a natural fit for the cooperative sector. Corinne is a passionate advocate who shares the cooperative movement’s essence with everyone she meets. Outside of work, she leads the development of ACCESS, a shared services platform offering back-office support to nonprofits and cooperatives through fractional staff.
Eden J. Yesh
Eden J. Yesh is a pivotal figure in community investment, pioneering over 20 organizations in Western Canada since 2012. A leader in clean energy, he founded three companies promoting sustainability. Yesh’s influence extends globally through his guidebook and consulting work, driving positive change in finance and social impact.
Dan Ohler
Dan, a devoted husband and father, champions rural entrepreneurship and community development. He co-founded Sangudo Opportunity Development Cooperative (SODC), unlocking $1 million for local projects. A key figure in seven successful ventures, he collaborated on the Unleashing Local Capital Program with ACCA, empowering communities nationwide. As a certified coach and seasoned speaker, Dan advocates for grassroots initiatives, fostering self-reliance and community empowerment.
