 | Peace Energy Cooperative (PEC) is a cooperative with over 600 members that is based in Dawson Creek, BC. It was founded in 2003. PEC has asked CIS to help it prepare and run a $5 million capital raise to invest in a 50% stake for the development and operation of a 5 MW solar farm in Peace River, AB. |
 | Solid State Community Industries (SSCI) is a co-op of co-ops and social enterprises with 25 member businesses based in Surrey, BC. It was founded in 2018. SSCI has asked CIS to help investigate the feasibility for a Social Finance Hub to help finance co-operatives and socialenterprises in Surrey, BC and to plan for its implementation. |
 | Founded in 2020, Bow Valley Green Energy Cooperative is a co-operative with 96 members in Canmore, AB. It has installed and operates several commercial rooftop solar projects in the Bow Valley and has asked CIS to help it prepare to attract capital to undertake further renewable energy projects. |
 | The Solar Power Investment Cooperative of Edmonton was founded in 2015 and currently has 75 members. It installed its first community rooftop solar project in 2023 and has asked CIS for help to improve its offer to investors to attract more capital for further solar power projects. |
